Well thats what I tought... old habits of calling that boiled leather while its more like wet leather...

Awesome was way of an understatement. It is by far my favorite peace of leatherwork I've ever seen to date! I love the bio-mechanical "Gigger" feel of it and the way it rises around the head. It makes it more alien.

Great work here, a source of inspiration.

Buy the way, classifying it in Traditionnal art->Artisant craft->Leatherwork instead of scuplture might give it more exposure to interested people.

Actually, I don't boil the leather to get this effect, I just impregnate the leather with water (hot or cold, doesn't matter). Then all of the individual pieces are sculpted through the drying process until they're quite stiff.

I love the way that you use the metal and leather to create such a rough look. Can't wait to see more.
