reminds me of the human porcupine...but I suppose with dragon scales, the effect is about five times more effective.

Hey, this looks great! It's very original. I love the shoulder+ arm pieces. those look very spiky to me. However, I'm not so sure about the chest--the spiky illusion stops working there for me. maybe because the chest ones are larger and look too different from the rest of the spikes?
